2768U (4 Turns): 2005-2008 Ford F-250 to F-350 Pickup Trucks Steering Gear

What a difference. I have a 05' F250 powerstroke on 37x13:50 tires and was having a lot of wandering from side to side driving down the road. Went ahead and ordered the 6 bolt cap heavy duty box and installed along with all new shocks and steering stabilizers. My truck now drives down the road straight without the wandering from side to side. Makes it nice to drive now. I would compare it to driving a new Ford that's how good it steers and maintains on the road. My old box had about 2 inch's of play in the steering wheel and the shaft on the box would move up and down about a 1/4 inch. Wish I would've done this swap a year ago.

06 F250 leveling kit with 35”s, had previously replaced box with motorcraft reman and it drove good at first but was loose again in a couple years.. decided to try Redheads 6 bolt box, I’m amazed, it drives as good as my wife’s 2020 truck down the highway and can turn with one finger sitting still. Only had it on for a couple months so time will tell (note this box will not work with new motorcraft lines, redhead told me to get lines from oreilleys and they worked and after comparing my factory lines would have worked also..  this would have been nice to know before buying and installing all new motorcraft lines)
