OLD-7104-5.5T: 1959-1964 Chevrolet or Pontiac Passenger Cars Steering Gear (5.5 Turns)

Old gearbox was loose with an 1" to 1 1/2" play from center to either side. The gear box that I purchased from Redhead was shipped practically over nite. Presentation was very clean and freshly painted. Once installed, I took the car out and the feel was a nite and day difference. NO play in the wheel. Car was easier to handle thus much more fun to drive. Could not be more happy. The customer service is awesome. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and knowledgeable. It's like they knew me and we were fishing buddies 😁. I had an issue getting my core returned to them within the time frame allotted and they were flexible and worked with me in getting it done. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. So happy I chose them. Highly recommended. You can get cheaper, but you want these gearboxes for your car. I have a 1963 Chevy Impala SS.
